What Is A Family Resource Center?
Our Family Resource Centers are co-located in Nassau University Medical Center's NuHealth Centers, and are a direct way for families to access Nassau County Family Support System of Care.

Our Family Resource Centers provide:
Information and culturally sensitive support services.
Support and advocacy for children, youth and families.
Parental or caregiver support through family support groups.
Activities for youth, including youth groups and youth support meetings.
Individualized wraparound service planning.
Mental Health Assessments.
Education advocacy .
Respite care.
